4/6 West Wind Shutdown

As I said before, I have been told that fishing the Bahamas and especially Cat Island you are very dependent upon wind direction. We had a West wind today with is apparently the worst direction, and I can’t say it’s true yet, but the fishing certainly was slowwww. We saw two lazy white marlins today that didn’t eat and caught one dolphin. That was it. We had a front move through last night and fished in the pooring rain this morning and dealt with a lot of scattered weed which is a dredge fisherman’s nightmare but the weather broke and we had blue skies this afternoon. We will be going again tomorrow and the wind is supposed to shift so hopefully we can put together a decent catch.
