Well, we had perfect weather today. With the flat calm forecast we decided to run out 30-35 miles and fish a few wrecks for tog. We worked our butts off on 5 different wrecks with no success. Just a few sea bass which are out of season. The water offshore there was 49 degrees. We sprinted back in towards Smith Island looking for stripers on the troll or jig. We found some bird play inside, tons of bait, but no stripers. We pounded it out, but no success. The only reports of any fish are over 40 miles away, but it looks like we have no other option and have to make the run tomorrow after striking out two days straight within a 20 mile radius.
