After 4 lay days we were back at it today. We spent the past 4 days doing a lot of rigging, boat work, and some spearfishing. Today we were greeted with a stiff 20-30 out of the ESE which made for some big seas at Devils Point. We got into the dolphin early and were covered up. As we were fighting them we had a solid wave crash over the stern and float the coolers. Pretty wild. It got a little calmer with 4-7 foot seas by mid day but we had some squalls roll through in the afternoon. Nothing terrible, and the dolphin were in thick so they kept us busy all day. We were also lucky enough to sneak 2 small blackfin tuna past the sharks. That should make for some good sashimi tomorrow!
