Today we started fishing in Cat Island with a 10 knot southerly breeze and pretty calm seas. We started off with a sailfish release just past Devils Point then had a few missed dolphin bites before we picked up a white marlin release out by Columbus Point. Shortly after we picked up a dolphin then decided to start the run over to San Salvador.
We got on the troll after about an hour and a half run on the North end of San Salvador and picked at some yellowfin and blackfin tunas but other then that, it was somewhat quiet. We out in about 2.5 hours then made our way into Riding Rock Marina for the night.
We plan to anchor out for the next two nights and will be targeting wahoo here all day tomorrow so hopefully some big ones start chewing for us!
