Today was another calm day at the start and we started out day at Devils Point and worked out way down the edge. We hooked into a Mahi at Dolphin Head but it was void of life otherwise. As we got into the pocket we had a white Marlin paddle in on the left long and hooked him up. Rick got a clean release.
We pounded it out without any real signs of life most of the day hoping sonething would develop, but we worked our way back at the slack Low Tide around 1pm. The West wind came up hard with the tide. We managed to get another Mahi but overall very slow day. Hopefully tomorrow things will shape up for us. On a high note today we hit 9 trips in a row with at least 1 billfish release. Hoping to keep that up…
