Sharkin’ and Catchin’

With the crazy NE blow for the past 5 days we finally got the chance to slip out fishing. We ran out on “Saltitide” searching for mako sharks. We setup on the 750 square area with clean green water and 61.5 degree water, 5 degrees colder then a week ago. We picked through a few blue sharks on our first drift and after an hour and a half. Setup a new drift. We waited for an hour before it was game on. We went on to release 12 blue sharks and also caught 3 makos keeping one that was 70″ and weighed in at 131 lbs. another fun day sharking! Lots of action. Congrats to Charlie on his first and second mako today!
