A group of is hopped on a friends Regulator and made a sprint to some wrecks for sea bass out on the 20 fathom line. It seemed like this was our only shot to go with the weather forecast and we had a 3-4 foot sea with 15 knot winds out of the west. Anyway, we got on the wreck by 8am and right away it was game on with sea bass. They ate anything we dropped down and they were in. Feeding frenzy. Plenty of double headers and by noon we had our limit. No big fish, but solid fishing.
We made our way in towards the Sea Isle Lunp to give trolling for stripers a shot for the afternoon but no good. Same story as yesterday, plenty of bait but no fish. It calmed down beautifully and made for a fun day on the water with good friends!
