With the window to get on a good mako closing fast we focused our efforts today on trying to get Maureen a line class record mako. We ran down to Masseys and setup in the blue green 73.5 degree water. There was a huge fleet of boats Tuna fishing and some were getting a few and others none. We setup outside of the fleet and drifted the drop off for most of the day. It was wet and rainy most of the day and no action. We had one small blue shark at the end and a few mahi swim around the boat that never ate, but that was all for the day. Not much to it, a lot less bait there then I have seen the past two days there.
