We are on day 2 after the Full Moon today with winds at 10-20 out of the NE today. Quite a few fronts moving through the area today and a bit of rain here and there, but it was very fishable. The action started off very slow for us with just a 20# mahi early on. The water temp has been down since our last good day of billfishing from 79.4 and has been 76.5-77.5 the past few days. Regardless we have kept at it and today we were able to put a nice catch together with quite a few gaffer dolphin, 2/2 on white marlin that piled on the left long rigger Party Hat/ballyhoo combo and even lucked out on a solid 59.6 pound yellowfin tuna. Somehow it was meant to be and no Sharks in sight! Great Fish!!!! Great way to end three days of fishing with these guys!! We are laying the next two then back at it hard starting Saturday.
