We got started today at first light in the Poormans Canyon in 70.5 degree water with winds out of the NE 5-15 knots. We trolled around looking for some signs of life all morning covering 100-400 fathoms down to the South Poormans and back up to the Poormans. The water did climb to 73.5 out deeper and down in the South Poormans. There were quite a few of us out there and nobody had any tuna bites so we ran up to the Baltimore for the afternoon but no luck there either. We ended the day pulling some mahi off the lobster pot balls with spinning tackle and that was all there was to it.
