Slipped out today in the mid day hours on the Trade In. Weather was about as perfect as it can get this time of year. We started on the troll in front of Corson’s Inlet in 51.5 degree water, but the weed was terrible and we could not keep our trolling gear clean. We marked plenty of bunker so we snagged a few and started livelining and getting what we could in the livewell. We managed to go 1/2 here and broke the ice.
We made a little move a tad deeper and down the line. We trolled a little here since there were reports of a pick on the troll, but we were still struggling with the weeds. We have it an hour here livelining bunker and went 3/4 here on nice stripers in the upper 30 to lower 40 inch range and called it a day.
