Wednesday we got right back to it starting off in the Baltimore Canyon targeting yellowfin tuna. The bite was pretty hot there YESTERDAY, but we all know how that goes. Action was nearly nil all morning until we started working up the temperature break to the NE and WHAM! 11 lines go down and hookup 9 yellowfins in the 45-55 pound range. We ended up boating 5 of the 9. Great way to get the day rolling. We kept working up the break and managed to get a triple header of which we got 2/3 of similar size yellowfins. We made a few more passes and then had a white marlin come into the spread looking for what he wanted to eat before he finally decided to pile on the long rigger and we got a clean release on it. As the day was coming to an end the left long went down hard and we were into a solid yellowfin. After a great fight we boated the yellowfin that went to weigh in at 86 lbs! Great day on the water with a fun crew!
