The weather here this season so far has remained flat calm almost every trip and today was no exception! I’m loving it! We made our way out to the Lindenkohl where there has been a rediculously hot bite the past three days and for lines in at 430 in grey light. 15 minutes later we hooked into 3/4 yellowfins and boated all of them on green spreader bars. We fired them back out and we were hooked into 4 this time and got them all in the boat quickly. Fired em out and again had 3 bites on the tuna flares and ballyhoo, hooked into two and boated 1 nicer yellowfin. After that it went quiet! We didn’t get another bite the whole day other then when we went inside to try Lemkes for bluefin but caught 3 bluefish. We ended the day with 8 yellowfins, not bad at all. The water was 74 degrees and blue green with no real break as these hotter days seem to have the water blending.
