I mated again today on the 50′ Bertram “Change Order” and the day started off great with a double header on sailfish. The first came into the flying fish chain and switched that off and the second piled on the right flat mini chugger. PERFECT! Shortly after we had a another double header and pulled the hook on one and missed the other. After that is was quiet for awhileeeee.
Finally a blue piled on the green squid chain on the right teaser and Gavin switched to to a Fish Downsea Big Chugger with a ballyhoo. GAME ON. After a solid 25 minute battle we released the beautiful 250# blue marlin and called it a day. Congrats to Gavin on pitching his first blue marlin!
