We has some pretty weather today so we made the long haul to the deep of the Toms Canyong and started fishing 500 fathoms of Toms on a 3 degree temp break of 65-68 degrees. We worked the break hard for about 15 miles on both the warm and cold sides, but not much to it at all. Lots of birds pounding on our spread all morning, but we did manage to catch 2 40 pound bluefin tunas.
We ran into Lemkes for the afternoon to take a look around in there. The water was green 66 degrees, and unfortunately lifeless. Slow day for us.
